Our Tribute to Late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,

Selvi J. Jayalalitha

We opened our School today and spoke to the children about the demise of our Late Chief Minister in our Circle time.
We had discussions and had a 5 minutes silence. Suddenly one of the children came up with an idea of making a collage about her.

So, we helped them in gathering few information and thus they have come out with this work.
Glance through the pictures and give us your feedback in your comment.

Do we have space for "them" in schools?

Let us ask ourselves the question........

One day an astrologer came home for counselling. He had a son studying in 9th. The child had problems in school. They would trim his finger nails which he wouldn't do at home. They made him wash his face as soon as he came from home as he would apply a lot of cream on his face and sometimes come with wearing lip sticks.he would remove his hair from his arms and legs. He was considered as a boy with behavioral issues. He would run away from school when they tried to trim his nails.

I guessed there was something "abnormal" with the boy by his looks too. His mannerisms were like a girl.

I referred him to a psychiatrist. He spoke to him and the father. The boy was slowly changing into a transgender.
The father is in denial saying that boys with thiruvadarai nakshathram (star sign) would like to be that way.

The school has warned the parent that the boy had to change his behavior for accommodation. Otherwise he would be sent out.

Is the school aware of these changes,? Will they be accommodating him ? Who is to Bell the cat?

Is there support group for these children?

Please support the cause.
